While Congress, the President and the special interest groups duke it out on Capitol Hill, millions of voters (and healthcare consumers) anxiously look on. Physicians have a particular interest in how the healthcare debate turns out, with its implications for patient care, quality of professional and personal life, not to mention the inevitable bureaucratic changes.
